Step into a world of behind-the-scenes excitement with SRYT STAGE CREW!

We are accepting a limited amount of new interns for a Backstage Training

Workshop beginning this fall 2023. Skills covered include: Run Crew, Lighting

and Sound Design, Rehearsal Assistance, Prop Building and Organizing, Set Painting, Costuming,

Make-Up and Box Office management.

Students must be 3rd-8th Grade and must attend a mandatory 

orientation before acceptance in the Backstage Training Workshop.

If accepted, new interns will be required to attend a mutually agreed upon dress/tech rehearsal schedule and shows throughout the year. This is a voluntary position (or the equivalent in months)-- after which the position is stipended. (students must be 13 or older to be stipended)

The first year (s) of interning will count for documented volunteer hours with a non-profit!!!

One-Time Workshop Enrollment Fee: $225 - Enroll HERE (for 7th and 8th graders)

For 3rd-6th, $225 per workshop. (coincides with each show they would like to be backstage for)

Fall Orientation: Saturday, October 21st, 1:45-2:30 p.m. (2nd Session begins in January for those that can't begin this fall!) in our theatre in Allendale:37 East Allendale Avenue, Allendale, N.J., 07401
