Auditions consist of a cold reading and singing a short portion of a song from the show--you get to pick the song choice!


Camp Auditions: May 7th, May 21st, June 18th or 19th

4:00-6:00 p.m. A calendar will be given out at your audition. You will receive a script at your audition, as well. Parts will be emailed home so that lines can be memorized prior to the 1st day of camp. Although we have a snack bar, we do recommend packing a water and a bag lunch/snack. Please do not pack anything with peanuts due to allergy issues.


"DISNEY MOVIE MAGIC"

Be your own hero this summer! Disney’s newest animated adventures feature a real sense of “girl power”! Proving both boys and girls can become heroes  if they’re brave! Each show will feature three distinct chapters of the modern fairy tale: “Moana”, “Tangled” and “Princess and The Frog” Students will have a main role in either “Moana”, “Tangled” or “Princess and the Frog” and will be a supporting/chorus part for the other two stories. “LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS”

*$100 Off Workshop Fee For GRHS Students  Little Shop of Horrors is a comedy rock musical with music by Alan Menken and lyrics and a book by Howard Ashman. The story follows a hapless florist shop worker who raises a plant that feeds on human blood and flesh. The musical is based on the low-budget 1960 black comedy film The Little Shop of Horrors. The music, composed by Menken in the style of early 1960s rock and roll, doo-wop and early Motown, includes several well-known tunes, including the title song, "Skid Row (Downtown)", "Somewhere That's Green", and "Suddenly, Seymour".  

July 29, 30, 31, August 1, 2 – 1:30-5:00 p.m.  August 3 – 11:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m. - Dress  August 5, 6, 7, 8 – 1:30-5:00 p.m.  Shows:  August 9th, 1:00 (1), 7:00 (2)  August 10th, 1:00 (2), 7:00 (1)  There will be two alternating casts with students playing a lead role in one show and chorus for the other.  ROLES: Audrey, Seymour, Mushnik, Orin Scrivello, Customer, Crystal, Ronette, Chiffon and Audrey 2.  (In addition to small hand puppets, Audrey 2 will be played by an actress on-stage and staged in a modern fashion.)    

SRYT's Disney Show-Choir 2019 will perform at Disney Spring's Waterside Stage in Walt Disney World, @ 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday, April 17th!  In the Disney area for Spring Break? We would love to entertain you with both Disney classic and modern medleys!
